Deep inside Cordragia's heart there lies a river of molten gold mixed with dragon's blood. The crimson chest, as it is known, is said to make the finder the richest who ever lived. So desirable is it that entire nations throw every able-bodied soldier they can in pursuit, knowing that the one who finally lays hands upon it will have enough gold to buy the world.

A cosmic sign points to the cursed Hokrish Mountain, a peak so horrid that none dare climb it. Deep in a cave at the top perches the terrifying Utaria, a black dragon demigod known to evaporate all that set foot on the mountain. Perhaps beneath the hordes of gold that lie inside there is a cave to the crimson chest?

It would be wise for the factions to unite against such a fearsome guardian—but greed consumes them all. Instead of cooperation, they wage war on each other, even as Utaria watches from her mountain and raises an army of her own.

The conflict rages in endless stalemate. Each side invents new ways to snatch victory from defeat, only to be outdone by the next. All wonder: what force could possibly break this deadlock?
